Good video. Especially the part where you're in there twice, talking to yourself.
You should try to detail your whole car with like a polish and a buffer wheel and learn how to do that for a video. Not for perfection, but something that the average person could try at home to clean up some small swirls in the paint etc

Thank you for your message! I've been thinking about that too, as it's a skill I haven't really learned how to do yet. What's stopping me is the labor here is so cheap that it doesn't really make sense for me to buy a buffer wheel for the amount of times I may use it, but maybe when I get back to the states this summer I could give it a "spin"! |

As I start to wrap up work on my masters degree and the weather is getting nicer, I get to spend more time with my friends and cars. On my last day of vacation, I headed downtown to our car club's HQ and met up with the club's regional head and he literally handed me the keys to every car on a silver platter and left me alone.
I didn't want to stay away from home too long- my in-laws were watching the baby so I just peeked inside of a few cars there, be sure to watch to the end of my video to see a bit more of the "why" I am the way I am, and some of my hopes and dreams for the future. https://youtu.be/TNBL-HLppeg not only was I allowed access to all the cars, but he also treated me to lunch- which was one of the most American meals I ever had outside of America... I was stuffed until lunch the next day. The cars and culture of China never cease to amaze me, I am lucky for the opportunities I am given, and am glad I can share it with this community as well. |

I haven’t been able to log in for a few weeks but in the meantime I’ve been staying busy. I put up a few videos and realized that I have stopped taking pictures.
I filmed an unscheduled video of my wife’s car and its dead battery. I didn’t use any dance editing techniques, mics or even a nice camera, and then this weekend was the spring meet for my car club. I was so busy having fun I didn’t film much, but what I did film is pretty cool. In the end I raced in the a Mustang GT against my own Camaro. The head of the club was driving my car and it was a race I’ll never forget. We actually raced three times down the drag strip. If you have a few minutes to spare, you can check it out here: https://youtu.be/qc1yLp3gq6w Lastly, if anyone out there knows of any body shops in the southern Michigan area, I want to get some rust fixed on my 3rd gen before I get back in late July. I’ve had no luck finding a shop online. |
