This green automotive paint color is most commonly known as Emerald Green. The color formulation has been used between 1995 and 2000, primarily by GM. We have records of this color appearing on the following models: Chevy Truck, Oldsmobile, and Chevrolet. See the full detailed list below.

GM paint manufacturing codes come in two forms, the short 1 to 3 digit model/year code which changes frequently; and beginning in the 1960's a longer 4 digit code which starts with the letters "WA" or "WE". Check for either the short year/make/model paint code or the longer manufacturing (Fisher) paint code.


Paint code for Lime Rock Green is WA136X

Below is the GM Emerald Green on 2000 Chevy Tahoe.

Interesting bit is the fact that WA136X shows up in the paint code section of the parts catalog for 2015 Camaro. So I wonder is it different or the same?

It's one of the nicest Metallic Greens they could put on a Camaro judging by the photo's. Can't wait to see one in person.

I highly doubt this color will be the exact 95-00 color. Though I remember an Emerald Green on 97-00 Monte Carlo's & Lumina's that looked absolutely great in sunlight.

Before you guys and gals get excited, keep in mind that GM's photography on the internet is often awful. Blue velvet went from a medium metallic blue to IBM. And I bet this Emerald Green could be just a Polo/ Lime rock green in person. If that is the case it is a pretty blah color. I hope I'm wrong.
