I arrived in Indy Saturday morning and the first thing I did was sit in the black IVER. The one thing that really concerned me was when I looked out the windshield. The windshield seemed very small to me. It could be that I'm used to my current car, a 2000 Impala, which has a huge windshield. I don't know. I might just have to get used to the Camaro. How does the 4th gens windshield compare to the 5th gens?

That woman played one of the original munchkins in The Wizard of Oz. She is less than four feet tall, so she appears to have a bit of headroom in the back seat of the Camaro.

I think I made a mistake, I asked her how tall she was last nite, she said 5-2. I never got her name, she was kinda shy. But, she said the headroom and legroom was fine, but she isn't a back seat kinda gal, she wanted the seat with the steering wheel in it
I told her the photo was on the website here, they aren't members, but if she logs on to see it, maybe she'll comment herself...Hope she does, she and her husband were real nice folks.

The front end of the 4th gen is only about a Foot lower than the 5th.

4th gens have HUGE windshields that are VERY long... so long, in fact, that its almost impossible to get every square inch of the front of the window clean... so the 5th gen window is alot smaller and will be alot easier to tolerate... the 5th gen's window is more upright and shorter in overall length... and while it seems to have a smaller opening to look out of, when looking out of it and around the rest of the cabin, I found only a small number of blindspots... adjust the mirrors correctly, and you'll be able to see almost everything around and behind you.

Yes the Inferno Orange optional interior upgrade was new and unseen. They even had the cover on it when we were setting up on Thursday. Well the cover blew off and spilled the beans. Scott swore us to secrecy and asked us not to speak of it until after the unveiling Friday morning. It is supposed to light up like the blue lighting in the upgrade interior but wasn't working.

All models come with the tire inflator, space-saver tire is optional on SOME models.

Yes you can jump start from either end.

Only heard the Silver SS idle, but the IVER car (V8) sounded good! Something funny about that red car too!!!!!! Even after Indy they've still got some tricks up their sleeve! (Wink, wink!!!)

I have some pictures when the Red car was being put in the presentation tent. Scott almost didn't do it, was a TIGHT fit into just the double doors.

TAG, hung around a bit after the lap behind the Brickyard Motel but didn't see you again. Wanting to see those pics of you and Lou in the trunk!

They would only let you sit in the IVER which had prototype panels that did not have the soft touch/finish the real ones will have.

They did kind of apologize at the presentation that they wanted to have more Camaro's there, but that there are still just so few of them they just couldn't.

No spit, huh?

I can't wait for next spring, when the imperial blue Camaro sits in my driveway.

What do you figure the menu button on the signal stalk is for?

I think the interior looks great. I don't love the gauges. Something a little too retro looking. I also have a question as to why the trunk opening is so small? Is that for body stiffness?
