Hey Paul thanks for the input! I definite appreciate you jumping in. We should change the title of this thread to "Cleaning Up The Engine Bay Help Desk" LOL. I try getting back to everyone asap but sometimes I forget.

Gisbert, see pic below. Basically your taking the two cables in the red box and rerouting them under the frame rail. Your also going to remove the bracket by drilling out the spot welds. This really cleans up the engine bay and it was one of my favorite things we did.

Nate

Is the cover over the relocated cable shrink wrap or tape? If wrap, where did you get it from? Thanks!

There's different guys that have done it through the thread. If you can go through and find the pages and post them. I will update the OP so that it will be easier to find for other guys. Right now we are in the garage working on G5.R.

Gisbert most guys put the PCM inside the air box and then just cut a release on the lower section of the air box cover to run the connectors. Originally we were going that route but a things evolved, we decided to move it inside the cabin under the dash. I have seen guys also mount it under the passenger seat. You just need to extend the harness.

The air box would be the easiest for sure.

I put my ecm in the cabin air filter area and drilled 2 holes on the front panel and mounted on that so it doesn't bounce around I also ran my wires out the side and the front bottom it takes time with the engine still in but can be done be patient

Chris do you have more detailed photos of how you ran the wires. And do you or anyone know how the abs lines get moved to the air box. I was looking today trying to figure it out and it looks like they need to be shortened and bent. But I don't was mess anything up. So looking for some detailed photos or instructions
