Depends on whether you buy the "green" version or the "performance" version (hopefully no special taxes applied to "performance" version!)

Good news and Bad news.
Bad first
I tried to apply the VentureSheild to the gill area of my car. Did not work. I think if I had more experience with it I could do it. Just could not get all the bubbles out. Flatter surfaces with fewer curves would be easy.
Good
I will be at Pro Tint tomorrow getting the clear bra applied.
Bad
They are going to charge me $625 to do the front and gills. Still better than the $1,100 I was quoted here. Even with the money I spent on materials I will still be ahead. Not so bad.
Good
I will try to make the meet @ Jordan Landing.

My appointment is 1:00 and they say they need to have my car for 5 hrs. But the business hours are until five. Also I will not have time to clean the car and I really would not want to until the VentureSheild is set up well.

The Ugly
If the weather forecast changes from its current prediction all bets are off.

On a side note the guy at pro tint said “have you been talking to that cop from….”

Yeah, they really like me at Pro Tint.

I love the job they did on mine. Gills look great. You'll be pleased. I'm guessing they'll have two guys working on your car, they did that with mine and had tint and VentureShield done in 6 hours

Our new shop is right around the corner from Pro Tint at 589 W 9400 S, we're still getting set up but you're welcome to stop in!

We'll be at Jordan Landing with the Cobalt SS and the 67' Chevelle Wagon! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!!!

I'm in for sure. I'll be there with SUPRBAD. My wife is taking Black Betty. Let's try to meet at Jordan Landing at 5:30 so we can all park together. If you can't make it by then I'll try to hold spots but I can't guarantee anything. Some of those fellow enthusiasts can be kind of ornery.

After you arrive make sure and sign up at the J.C. Hackett trailer. It's free and if you register they give away stuff all night. Good stuff you can use like gift cards to local restaurants.

I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to the Arctic Circle Cruise as well.
