Well I got my early retirement papers today. I would love to go, but I would still have to get another job. After almost 34 years and my company limiting me for a year where I can work, makes it difficult. We will be making a trip to ye olde financial adviser.

I was just just making my second attempt to reply to your PM when some kid in a pickup skidded into through the stop sign out front and into the woods across the road. I walked over there to check to make sure there were no injuries. The kid was obviously drunk and distraught. I didn't want to get involved, but the people that did stop were doing nothing to keep him or themselves out of the road (It's dark AND foggy.) So I begrudgingly took charge and got him out of the road, and the next thing I know, I'm the only one there with him, and the cops haven't even arrived yet! So much for good Samaritans.

I tried 3X last night & once this morning to post up a pic from my Iphone but every time when I hit submit the whole page just dissappeared?????????? So I just emailed it to myself & will post it later. Anyway, yesterday Mike & I drove the TN part of Tail of the Dragon in the Yukon. If you have not heard of it it is a notorious switchback laden mountain road loved by bikers & sports car enthusiasts. It claims lives of folks who attempt to drive it every year. There is a tree that has been decorated with pieces & parts of the bikes of folks who have wrecked. We had headed there last year to drive it & that is when the fuel pump went out. So we had to try again this year. The MCCC has thought about driving this road as a club outing so it was research of sorts. After driving it, I'm not sure it is a suitable Camaro road. I suspect lots of Camaros would bottom out or even leave behind ground effects parts at best. I took a bunch of video but can't download it until I get home. For now here are a few pics. Since I was badgered yesterday to catch up 8 days of backlog in one day (guess they forgot I was on vacation), I'll be working today. Did manage to clear two days of backlog yesterday.

I've been on it several times, before lowering though. I have ground effects and it wasn't a problem then. Probably going to do it on the Hot Rod Power Tour this year, so we'll see!

I just flew back from several days in Sarasota, Fl. Mid 70's & sunny every day.
There's so many shinny new Camaros all over the place down there.
I came back to Ct PM yesteday to 5 degrees and it's not much better now.
I just had to take the SS out for a spin after a week in the garage.

Sure seems like it. However being the new Glass Half Full person instead of what my wife calls Debbie Downer from SNL, at least it didn't happen before Rick's Vacation. Sure would have put a wrench in the works getting to drive all those cool cars around at BJ.

Well didn't make it to Phoenix yesterday. Delayed it until tomorrow. It's hard studying for that drug test. Headed out at 7 and hopefully back home at 10PM. Don't remember when the last time was having to travel 2000 miles just to use the bathroom.
