Of course - we already bought the car, no reason for them to spend more money than they have to. All of those CEOs' gold-plated swimming pools aren't going to pay for themselves.

HA! I like it, Ragnar... for those of us who have some OCD tendencies (I mean, CDO (needs to be in alphabetical order))!

Haven't had it done on the 2010 and don't plan on it. The new Chevy Malibu's we just leased for the office all come with the same exact key setup as my Camaro and the ignition is in the same place. There is no way I could hit either key with my leg unless deliberately tried to get my leg up there.

Maybe if people didn't have all that crap and lanyards and such hanging from their key rings they wouldn't have any problems. I had my wife and kids remove all that stuff from there key rings for that reason and to quit putting so much weight on the ignition switch and wearing it out prematurely. Just my .02

They're getting more persistent with me. It's starting to get frustrating. Seems like weekly I get mailers from the local dealerships telling me they genuinely care about my safety.

I like my flip key. If they at least came up with a slightly prettier solution I'd consider it, because all they want to do is put MORE crap in my pocket with the recall. No thanks.

I don't know how anyone could turn off their engine with their knee (with the factory switchblade key). My knee can't reach the key fob... the steering wheel is in the way.

I don't usually post here.. but c'mon ppl some common sense?
The knee hitting the key while you're driving.. Dealership didn't tell you to that a dangling fob will be dangling and you can take it off the ring..

That's why the rest of the world laughs at US.. USE you brain!
