The radiator was cleaned already. The fans work.

What was the temp rating of the thermostat your mechanic put in?

You might want to change it to a 160* as I see your in Panama.

The thermostat could even be a defective part it is rare but it can happen.

I always pre check mine to make sure it opens in warm water before I install it.

Upper and lower radiator hoses, one side should be hot and other much cooler. If not then you have a clog/collapsed in the radiator

All this discussion is meaningless until you get a pressure check. We're not talking about visible leaks, but pressure. The coolant will boil off at a lower temp if not pressurized.
