I can't stand reference videos for exhaust when they don't rev the freaking motor im not talking about red line revs but close to it.. Frustrating and impossible to compare (in terms of comparing from a video)

This is the video that sold me on the NPP exhaust:

Have it on my HWSE and now with the LT headers and hi-flo cats it just sounds MEAN.

Loud at startup (but settles after about 30 secs to low burble) and loud when you stomp on it. I would say significantly louder when you stomp on it than the standard exhaust. I set off the car alarms of other cars at startup at the office.

Agreed, idle sounds good but it does scream. I have a 1.6L civic with cat and resonator thats just as loud as my 6.2L camaro without a muffler

Agree with most people above. My NPP is absolutely awesome. Headers and CATS soon, though neither is super necessary. I set off car alarms, stock exhaust doesnt Best option you can get on the car, hands down.

Just curious, why is setting off car alarms a plus? It was mentioned a couple of times in this thread.

It means its loud. Loud = warm fuzzy feelings, so they are happy

I'm cheap. I did the delete and love it. The NPP option wasn't around when I bought mine. Even if it was I think I would have spent the 900 bucks elsewhere rather than ordering the NPP. The delete isn't nearly as refined and classy as NPP, but neither am I

The sound of a V8 camaro with longtubes and no cats is pure intimidating, when you set off car alarms its the sign of submission

I've had the L99 before my 1LE. My 1LE came with standard exhaust. I have since installed NPP. The order of loudness is L99<LS3<NPP. NPP is much louder especially with valves open. It has a deeper sound and a lot more aggressive. I think the NPP sounds like a Borla system.
