Offer them 3k plus your car to start the negotiating.

I think some where between 3-5K + trade would be a win for you.

You seem to have a 2013 V6 and want to trade it in for a 2010 V8 automatic and have to pay $7,000 to do it?

IIRC, the V8 with an automatic means the V8 is a L99 and not the LS3.
The L99 was rated at 400hp rather than the 426hp of the LS3, and bigger yet, the L99 has AFM Active fuel management where it turns off 4 of the cylinders to improve milage.
A lot of people just don't care for the AFM for a number or reasons. Do a search on it to understand why some people don't care for the AFM.

To have to spend possibly $7,000 to buy a car that's 3 years OLDER than the one you have doesn't make sense to me, But I'm sure you have your own reasons.

The bottom line is will you be happy after the trade, depending when the car was first purchased will dictate how much if any bumper to bumper warranty you have. You may have a drive train warranty left but anything else you'll be paying.

I bought my 2012 for $26,000 after haggling and getting them to fork over more toward my trade. TTL and warranty put me at 31k. Mines a 2ss anniversary too. I think you can do better or get them cheaper.

Hey if you like the car and it's everything you want, then jump on it. Market price is different everywhere and of course they're better prices out there, but when do you want the car and what are you willing to pay. To get the car today and be able to drive and enjoy is worth $1k more then waiting 2,3,4 months. The choice is all yours. The car is only worth what your willing to pay.

Look it up on NADA for clean book. That's what they paid for the car. Then offer them $200 over that.

I wouldn't put any money down..I would take your keys and say I have this camaro and I want THAT camaro for 26500. There should be no need to put money down all that's going to do is convince the bank even more to finance you. Just take your car and tell them 26500 or you'll walk. It WILL come down to you walking but they will call you back.

No HUD but you do get back up sensors on 2010 2SS's.

Actually, 29k for a 2010 2SS RS with those miles including tax, title doesn't sound too off. It still 1-3k than I'd expect. I know because I've been looking on autotrader, this forum, and other sell sites for SS models for several months.

The low mileage is probably why they're selling it for that much.

Going from 2013 to 2010 is fine by me since you're going from a 2LS which IIRC doesn't have leather to a 2SS RS.
