If that means I have to wait a few weeks/months, than so be it. I have cash, either the dealer will work with me or against me. |

plenty of dealerships and plenty of guillible people out there. chances are, dealerships will try to "relive" the old ZL1 and tell customers that just like back in 69, there will be a limited amount of ZL1's made and "this one wont stay here forever"

My deposit is in and I have been told I am number one on the list. I was promised the car at MSRP plus any applicable rebates. So we will see if he can deliver on his promise.

I really want one. The timing is right, Ive got some extra coin saved up from my deployment, it really comes down to the sticker. i have a price in my head if (and im sure it will be) is over 47K then Ill drop to a 1SS and click all the option boxes.

As long as the price comes in at a reasonable number, then I'll definitely buy the ZL1. If not, then I'll be getting a 2SS. I am one of the few that loves everything about the ZL1 as presented so far, but can't see a lot more than $50K in a car.

I'm waiting for the hype buyers to get theirs and see if the price on them comes down. My wife wants a camaro bad and I might be inclined to buy a ZL1 and hand her my LS3. This all depends on the sticker though. I'd rather buy a '69 Z28 fully restored for $50K than a new camaro of any type. That's the other possibility....

90% certain I WILL be getting the ZL1. I have the finances AND an agreeable/understanding wife .
Previously, I was up in the air between the ZL1 and the C7 Corvette. Last week it was announced that the C7 would "probably" be debuted in 2013 and be a 2014 model year. I'm a pessimist, so that tells me 2014/2015 before they'll be available. I normally hold onto my cars for 2 or 3 years (tops). As much as I like my SS, I got it n March 2010....you can do the math. The only reason I'm not 100% is just in case GM surprises us by unveiling the C7 MUCH sooner, with a late 2012 or EARLY 2013 targeted production date, AND the body style is "revolutionary" (similar to Concept Stingray) as opposed to "evolutionary" (refresh of the C6), then......well that would be the other 10% and I'll have a difficult decision to make.

I've already sold my 2010 2SS so I will be getting the ZL1 unless something better comes along.
