I hope they didn't take a lesson from the Tiburon in terms of handling. I test drove a Tiburon and that thing was all over the road.

I can assure you this car is completely different from the Tiburon. It's in a different class. Matter of fact, Hyundai is working on the Tiburon replacement as we speak.

Well I'm not much for the styling, but I will say that Hyundai certainly knows how to equip a performance car. That Track model should be a pretty decent performer. I love the weight number too.

Oh and for the 2.0T model, I took that to mean it makes a certain HP number on premium gas. This says nothing about requiring it. It may well just make less power on the cheaper stuff but otherwise run fine.

I wouldn't be worried about comparing it to a Tiburon. Hyundai put a lot of effort into this one. I wouldn't expect it to be glorious on all fronts, but I would expect it to be better than a Tiburon.

The Tiburon is a joke.... The Genesis is going to be worlds better vs the Tiburon.

I'm not underestimating the performance. I'm fairly certain that this will be a tough competitor to beat at the track. My concern is reliability. Just because other Hyundai cars are reliable doesn't mean that the company's first ever legitimate performer is going to be on par with other Hyundais. If anything, I'm overestimating Hyundais reliability on other platforms. I simply tend to be skeptical of performance cars from companies that aren't known for performance.
