No. None of the above are worth it in a 5.0L. It's a neat little engine, but it's not a great engine to mod really...I've owned two of them. For the cost of all that you can get a carbed 5.7L and get more out of your money, then add mods for that engine (which are WAY more plentiful than the 5.0L).

depends you can get one for a few hundred that you would need to rebuild or you can go get a 350 crate motor that is already dont but that will cost a couple k.
My engine when it went I have now a total about 5k in to the engine. My husband spent about 2500 on a crate motor 290 Hp 350.

hey guys i was lookin at motors and i found the turn key LQ9 GM vortec
384 ci. 390 hp $6,700 have any of yall heard of it is it any good. |

I'd get the ZZ4 350. Very friendly to mods and much cheaper. 350 stock, and it can make 450hp easily.
