Plus.. I spend FAR more time driving and enjoying my car than talking to strangers I will never see again about it.

Why on Earth would you care what random people think if YOU like it being V6? I could never do the V6, I'm too much a muscle guy... BUT, if one of my boys were looking for a Camaro, I'd suggest the V6 for the economy and theyh really don't need the extra power (and the 6 has enough power for the road anyways). I got the Automatic on purpose. I would not want the manual. Everybody has their own likes and reasons. Live with your own.

Not wanting to get bashed by people at all. Again I do love my car maybe the title should be SOMETIMES i regret buying my camaro. That being said to quote pcikwithaustin
"Why on Earth would you care what random people think if YOU like it being V6?" I own a red 2 door sports car/muscle car that turns heads. I bought it because it looks super cool and because I want to stand out. Im not gonna pretend I not care what other people think. Most people don't buy this type of vehicle just because they like it but also because it makes a statement and its a LOOK AT ME car. It just stings a bit when people say "OH... it's a V6" especially those who don't even own one or something even comparable. |

I love my 2SS/RS but almost every day I wish I had tried harder and waited longer to get a Lotus Elise. There will always be something else you wish you had gotten instead. We can't all buy every car we want, like Jay Leno.

If you really aren't happy sell your v6 instead of trading it in and maybe you won't loose as much. The go get the car you really want. When the 6th gen hits the market yoiu can get a great deal on a 15.

My wife and I both want a Camaro to replace the Harley Davidson I sold. I loved the bike, but she was scared to ride on it. Not because of me, because of inattentive drivers and deer. She didn't care whether it was a V6 or not. Her only "demand" was that it be Synergy Green. My demands were that it must be an SS, and I preferred a manual in a non DD sports car. She wanted an automatic. As most of you know, our demands left us with only one year choice, a 2011 model. Not easy to find one. In December, an old friend that I used to work with stopped by to see me after several years. I asked him what he was doing now. The conversation went like this:
Him: I'm a car salesman at a Chevrolet Dealership. Are you ready to buy a car? LOL! Me: No, we're pretty good on cars. Besides, my next car is very specific. Him: Like what? Me: It has to be a 2011 Camaro SS in Synergy Green. Not easy to find. Him: Holy crap, we just had a lady trade one of those in on a new Tahoe! Me: No frickin' way! Picked it up that day, and took it home to show the wife. She wasn't crazy about it being manual, but decided she could live with that. We bought it on New Years Eve. My youngest son and I went cruzing in it today. Sooo much fun to drive with lot's of comments, smiles, and thumbs up from people who see it.

Got 2015 LT RS V6 auto a month ago and very satisfied. Never looked for V8 based on mpg and gas prices all over the place. Shakira will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow after Dr Lupe did an implant for hud display.
