The op either has a faulty part or more than likely still has those spring spacers in it. It's also possible that the alignment got messed up somehow. He needs to take it to the dealership for diagnostics.
Don't get me wrong the mag ride is great and gives a smooth ride but I'm just curious if all ZL1s feel like that because every time I hit a bump it sounds like I'm damaging the car rather than absorbing it. I'm going to take it to the dealer to get it checked out to make sure I wasn't sold a car that was in an accident or something.

I hope you get it worked out because it definitely should not feel like it's being damaged. That's why I mentioned the alignment, when I lowered mine it initially felt like it was falling apart until I got it re-aligned it was mostly noticeable over bumps and in the rain but if it was dry and smooth there was no issue.

I think I know what the problem is, you only have ONE wheel in front

Seriously, tire presure makes quite a bit of difference on mine. Check out the pressure.

What are you guys running for pressure?

Mine feels like a Caddy compared to my C6 with Pfadt JOC shocks and sways.

32 cold.

I ride around in mode 5 as well, and it's stiff, sure, but not oppressively so.

My suggestion is to drive another ZL1 and compare. My buddy just bought his wife an ATS with the mag ride and it is terrible. They drove another and it is night and day. The dealer is digging for an electrical issue that has the shocks locked on "stun".

Good luck, OP.

I traded a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT for my ZL1 and the ZL1 feels like a Buick compared to the Jeep. I couldn't be happier with the ride quality of the Camaro.

Should be the otherway around. I mean, my 2011 SS drove rougher than my ZL1 on ALL surfaces. Night and day actually! Hope you get it worked out!

Also, my front right tire sounds like it's hitting the wheel well on every bump. Anyone have similar problems?

SSallday,

Sincere apologies to read of the rough idle concerns with your Camaro. I can understand your displeasure, but it's great that you'll be seeking assistance with your dealer. Feel free to keep us posted on the diagnosis if possible , or message me privately if additional assistance is needed.

Loose the Goodyears, mine are still sitting in the basement with stock rims, best thing I ever did.

Depends what you're use to as well. I'm overjoyed with the ride in my ZL but after I drive my wife's sedan (which is a marshmallow on tires) the old ZL seems a bit harsh. But I find spinning the tires through first and second gear tends to make my butt HP/ride-measure re-calibrate and all is once again OK.
