My take from a few companies was they didnt care how the wire got to the junction box as long as it was there, connected to the breaker and supported the needs of the unit. A few of the HVAC companies would do all of that themselves but there overall cost was just too much. It certainly pays to shop around and compare what you are getting and whats needed.

Here is what I used, I ordered a second line set since it only came with 9'

I did the Electrical myself too, 240v, 1 double pole breaker 15 amps, and a 60 amp disconnect next to the AC outside, you can buy the whip or do it yourself, 240V is what I recommend.
make sure outside everything is by code since it's in a wet location. |

Oh, I got an extra whip if you want it, with conduit.
I'll be going to Chesnee next weekend if you want to borrow the pump, manifold, flare tool, spray and Nylog. It will save you some $$ |

I may take you up on that if I decide to go the DIY route, which I am leaning towards.

Thanks, unfortunately I don't have a window, and don't care to cut a big hole in the wall.

Here is the whip and I got the fittings for the flex conduit too, straight and 90 deg. elbow.
I was out of Red AWG so Orange I used lol Hey and don't buy a drain elbow that goes below the outside unit if it doesn't come with one, I bring it. |

If you're wanting to do it perfectly? I got a small hand pipe bender so you can bend the turns with it, instead of by hands and risking kinking the lines, but they are pretty solid lines. main thing is to pull a good vacuum and let it sit there for an hour, or over night.
to make sure there is no leak. |

I've got a bender that will do 1/4"-3/8". Probably not big enough. I will for sure use anything that will help make the job cleaner looking and better.
Thank you sir!

The bender will work for the low pressure side, the other is 1/2" I believe.
I bring it too. |
