Agreed... I really don't get it but I guess that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... More broadly, I don't get the de-badging in general that people do to take off the "SS" and "CAMARO" emblems either, but different strokes for different folks I guess...

it just cleans up the car...plus, with certain colors (like mine) chrome and white SS badges just don't look as good

Lol. The wrap is what sets this car apart. And also the meaning behind the hood wrap is beneficial for those tracking it(reduces glare). To each his own though!

If you are not tracking it you really do not need the wrap. The idea of it is to keep glare off the hood if you are tracking the car.

The benefit for me on the track (and street)will be to avoid rock chips. Race tires pick up every tiny rock and throw it at the car directly behind you. NOW, I am never behind other cars on a track but it is like getting BBs shot at your car at 100MPH+ if the car in front goes offline or off track for a moment. For me, I have used vinyl for the same purpose across the top of the windshield, to reduce the area that could be chipped/cracked and that piece keeps the sun out of my eyes. -Matt

What sets the car apart are the wheelsand all the other parts it comes with for 3500 dollars. With or without a wrap its still a 1le.
