I will see your Star Trek Nerdiness, and raise you one board game from the eighties that I played religiously with friends.

Then we discovered girls and stopped playing.

I'm with it. Lol.

The true nerd test is whether or not you know the fate of the B and C.

According to Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise, NCC-1701A was originally named the Ti-Ho but was renamed after the whalesong incident (ST:IV). Nerdy enough?

I would like to know what alarm is that? Is there a monthly fee for it?

So, the NCC 1701-B was lost with all hands (presumably) due to an unknown infection (I had to look that up), and the NCC 1701-C was lost defending the Klingon Outpost on Narendra III (Yesterday's Enterprise).

Yesterday's Enterprise was a fantastic episode. My favorite quote "Let us make sure history never forgets the name....Enterprise".

Anyway, since I have nerd attention, can some explain the whole Ceti Alpha 5 vs 6 confusion.

Khan and crew were on Alpha5, Reliant crew thought they were exploring Alpha6.

Alpha6 had exploded years before, so the Reliant crew were on the wrong planet, but wouldnt a quick check tell you that a) not enough planets revolving around the star and ii) if you count from the central star outwards, how can you mistake planet 5 as planet 6.

Never got that.

Also, how did Khan have a Starfleet symbol around his neck? In one of the novels, Chekov gave it to him after bringing him and his people down to Ceti Alpha V.
PS I hope he don't all get warnings for changing this from a Camaro post to an off-topic post.

b you got me on, although it was damaged on it's 'first' voyage by 'the nexus' energy ribbon. c was destroyed in TNG defending a klingon outpost against Romulans.
