I'd love a Z-28... but the cost of a 2SS is at about my limit for what I can afford. I'm happy sticking with a 2SS and possibly adding a supercharger somewhere down the line. There's no way I'm willing to wait several more years either, It's been long enough already.

They should put the LSA motor in the Z28.

Let's not start this again. It will cost too much and will outperform the Z06. No Z28 has ever been built to outperform the Z06. That's the role of a ZL1.

It will never outperform it being 700lbs more. LS7 has its days numbered anyway. They can put the same engine in both and have plenty of performance difference.

Mostly cosmetic changes. Hood, wheels, spoiler, exhaust.

I like to avoid calling one better than the other. Either way, you're bound to make some people mad.
The SS was the higher tier as far as performance for the recent fourth generation, but that was not standard prior to that generation. In the past, the Z28 represented a stripped, track-tuned setup with smaller displacement than the SS. The SS was more street-oriented. Options could be added to both, so all the trimmings were available. Most saw the Z28 as more of a racer while the SS was more of the show car. Both performed. Both were Camaros.

Replied to 5+ topics like this already. I'm waiting for the vert anyways. If the high performance trim actually does come out I'll have a hard decision to make when the time comes to buy one.
