1. 6'2 here, seats adjust very well and there is plenty of space inside the car, if anything it's just weird being so close to the ground.

2. Anything that doesn't fit with the rear seats up will fit with them down. I've hauled a TV in there, a dorm room worth of stuff and various other things, the car is deceptively spacey.

3. Adjust your side mirrors properly, away from the car and you'll have 0 issues. For parking with a 2LT you'll have rear view cameras as well. Most of the time I back into parking spaces now but once you get used to the car either way will be secondhand, I don't even look at the camera anymore outside of checking for oncoming traffic on a busy street.

4 (optional). The HUD kicks ass, you'll like this.

Happy motoring.

1. I'm 6'-3" and only have one minor complaint: I have a sunroof which takes away a little headroom over the non-sunroof version and if I'm wearing my golf/ball cap and hit a bump, sometimes my head taps the trim around the edge of the opening. Smarts a little but no biggie. And I've learned to duck my head when getting in or out. No longer a problem. You will have no problem.

2. My standard length clubs fit in the trunk with no problem so long as I have the rain cover on to keep them from spreading out too much. Can't see the video right now but if I put the bag in diagonally they fit just fine.

3. It takes a little practice to "trust your mirrors" but if properly adjusted it's really no problem. I still glance over my shoulder when changing lanes (a 44 year habit) but the mirrors and backup camera do the job.

None of these minor inconveniences would make me change my mind about driving/owning this great car.

Wow, thanks for all the great responses. The video with the golf clubs was especially helpful.

I've never owned a vehicle with a rear view camera, although I've driven my mom's Audi A6 and found it to be very helpful. If anyone has had experience with rear view cameras on other vehicles, I'd like to know how the Camaro compares.

Definitely getting the coupe, preferably in the blue ray metallic or red hot.

I've got the rear view camera on mine and I would say it works very well and is above average compared to other vehicles I've driven with them.

The visibility in general will be a shock if all you are used to driving is trucks. The first time I drove a Camaro (before I was in the market for one) I thought I could never own a car with visibility this bad. After driving it for about a week I got used to it and it didn't really bother me any more other than the blind spot over your shoulder. Luckily I don't have that pesky B pillar in my convertible!

Yeah the HUD or as I call the Ticket Avoider. Helps you track your speed all the time which is a problem with these cars. They just love to go go go.

Even in the coupe, if you adjust your mirrors properly you won't have a blind spot - you just have to adjust them properly and trust what you see.

I'm 6'2" and am pretty close to the interior roof, but not a problem. Getting in and out is a little tight for me, but not really bad. Mostly due to the fact that I am an old guy and out of shape.

Trunk space is very ample and with the back seat back folded down you can get some pretty big stuff in there. The limiting factor is the trunk opening itself. It is a little on the small side.

Blind spots are no problem for me. As previously mentioned mirror adjustment is very important. You will become very comfortable with it in a short time.

The rear view camera is one of the best that I have used. It comes on very fast and has a good field of view with a clear bright picture. The only thing that I wish it had is the predictive path lines that some other models have, but coupled with the audio warning it is very nice.

This is my third Camaro, the first being a '67 SS that I got new when I was in the Air Force several lifetimes ago. I also had a '10 SS that I really liked, but had to get a little more practical car. Now I am back in a '14 SS and happy again!

I have had numerous performance cars over many years and I feel that this generation of Camaro is the best of the bunch for fun and versatility. Hope you get yours this year.

If 6'2" or more, and want to ever wear a helmet, skip the sunroof. I have to take my driver out to put my clubs in, but had them prove they would fit before I ordered the car. Properly adjusted mirrors and I have no blind spots.

Oh, I've wanted to ask about the HUD. I read that it can display turn-by-turn directions. Is this only if you have the navigation or would it work from a smart phone? What other types of information does it display? I'm assuming speed but anything else?

im 5'10" head rooms not a problem. I think the trunks big for a muscle car. I also havent had a car only 4x4 trucks in the last 15 years so it was a shock at 1st but you get use to it. Its A Muscle car.its built 1 for looks and cost 2 for performance and 3 to pass DOT. Just know whats around you and whenever possible make sure you can pull out of a parking spot.

1. Headroom - Read a bunch of reviews on various automotive sites and a common complaint is the lack of headroom. I currently own a 2005 GMC Canyon and according to specs sheets, the Camaro is 2" lower, which doesn't seem like a big deal to me. I'm 5'10" so I'm wondering if any owners have issues with the headroom.

2. Trunk space - Another common complaint is the small trunk opening. I'm an avid golfer. Can I fit a standard golf bag with clubs in there? Or do I need to resort to putting it in the back seat?

3. Visibility - I've only driven mid-sized trucks in the past 15 years and they all have very good visibility. How much of shock will it be when driving a Camaro? A common complaint is it's hard to see out of the rear and sides.

This is a really great site. Thanks for your help.

I heard Shaq had a Camaro. Last I heard he was 7'6".

6'1" & just hard getting in & out of car if parked next 2 another car, other than that its fine. Trunk space is ok, trunk opening is bad.

When I 1st drove a 5th gen I did not understand why everybody complained about the blind spots & limited visibly. I had no issue adjusting on the test drive to the way the camaro is different from other cars bc of the "hips". The only thing is I have to get used to parking it bc the car next to me is always too close.
