I have heard some hate on the 5th gen from time to time, even by fellow GM drivers. I find it a little disturbing but I don't really let it get to me. The things they say are on par with heavy and slow. But, the compliments have outweighed the negative remarks by far.

I live in Mustang country. In my town there are 3 huge Mustang clubs and 1 Camaro/car club that I started 2 yrs ago bc my car didnt fit in with any local clubs. Lots of Camaro hate here. Ive heard it all but it doesnt bother me a bit. I just ignore it and walk away. No sense in arguing with stupid

Heavy, yes. Ugly, no way. I think it's the best looking of the big 3. But then again, I'm biased!

Most hardcore car enthusiasts and independent car reviewers are not fans of Camaros. A lot of people that regularly attend meets like Cars and Coffee and are always around exotics and higher-end cars are not fans of them either. They all say the same thing: too big, too heavy, can't see, etc. Being a car enthusiast with an open mind (not biased towards any certain brand), I agree to a certain degree, but that doesn't mean I don't have fun with my car and enjoy it. No car is perfect in every way. Every car is going to have faults.
When at meets and such, I couldn't care less what other people think. I love my car and take it to meets/cruises with pride, which is all that matters. |

you know, everyone talking about 6th gen, now that they have went back to the roots alittle, what else is left? like challenger, it has nowhere to go. we all have seen the 15 mustang and I know it's a new design and a lot of people hate new designs but I don't think it was a good change

I've heard the same crap. The 4th gen f-body and C5/C6 guys say it's too slow because of its weight. The 2010-2013 gen 5 guys tell me GM ruined the Camaro with the '14 model and one guy even told me the rear end looked like a Prelude. Ironically enough, a guy at work who has a 2010 Challenger SRT8 has never said anything but great things, and gone as far as saying my car was "awesome" lol. Haven't talked to any Rustang guys yet. There was a guy with with a 5.0 Boss Coyote but he retired right before I got my car. I bought a 2006 GTO new and had it up until October of this past year and thought it was a great car, even if it was "heavy". This Camaro smokes it in every possible way. Total upgrade from the headlights to the tail pipes and all points in between.

3.91's in an auto, she ain't slow off the line guarantee you that. Any hate I get is quickly retracted when I remind new mustang owners that if it wasn't for my 400 hp Camaro they would still be driving a 305 hp Mustang, you are welcome.
