wish i could afford one,but i like my creature comforts too much, plus i would never get on a track with it anyway,i have hopped up my LS3 and it has never been on a track since ive had her, since 2009,now on the other hand,i could possibly afford to trade up to ZL1 after and if these owners trade in for the Z/28

It was really exciting! When they rolled the SS out I was wondering why it wasn't on the spin-tron thingy. At that moment I was like on snap... I wonder what they are going to release. Anyways... my only concern is the clutch they are going to use with this setup. The ls7 clutch does not retain heat very well and gets sloppy so hopefully a ls9 or a lsa clutch is used to help put the power down consistently.

I'm shocked that they didn't use the Twin-Turbo V6. Would have been lighter, preformed like a V8 and handled like a V6. Hmmmm maybe the 6th Gens?

I always wonder why people think a twin turbo v6 will weight less then this v-8. the ducting and turbos add weight and it's not like the v-6 weighs that much less then a v-8 anyways. oh well.
I knew this day would come. to you chevy. |

If you are referring to the new LT1 then probably. I didn't read up on the SS revamp. This is what I want. lol. but the ls3 and the current v6 are only 100lbs apart. that's my point.

I had one of those 302 DZ motors back in the mid seventy's. Only small block chevy I have ever owned that I came off the line at 10,200 RPM. Yes you read that correctly

Yes the new LT1. You and I would go back and forth in the Z28 threads regarding the Z28 having an LT1 or LS7.

Awesome car. I think if I wanted a car I did nothing but track I would have one. For a car I can drive every day, and rock the track with I will take a ZL1 however.
