Not to mention letting someone's opinion bring them down....to the OP just wait til you're out of school and the real world says hello....

This is this new generations problem. Growing up where everyone is a winner and everyone with a negative opinion is a bully. Growing you coddled and sheltered. Then they hit the real world and that paper skin gets shredded to bits. Sorry it's the truth.

Just like the guys making the negative comments in here about a V8.

"V8s are for racing"
"I bought a V6 for gas mileage"

Stfu and stop trying to validate your purchase. Enjoy what you have and if you want to let other people influence you and make you feel bad about your car the Tampons and a Prius are on Aisle 5.

It not about old vs young. It's 6 vs 8. 6 wins financially and with practicality. Speed, power, and exhaust note... Well you can't beat a v8. Well yeah a ZL1 can. You 8s too chicken to buy a ZL1 or what? Ha ha ha ha

I must say I do get a little snobby in the CLK!
Dont confuse old with experienced...i could have bought the zl1 no problem...i decided to spend my money else where...69k is more then i was willing to spend on a car. Why did you cheap out on a v6...you must be practical. ok now maybe im done.

Congrats and enjoy. Don't let other people make it rain on your parade. People hate cause they wanna be like you or you have something they want.

Lol v6 vs v8 is just the beginning...wait until you see the garage queen vs daily driver, rs vs non rs, 10-13 vs 14 refresh, washing technique, exhausts, muscle vs sport car...the list goes on.
The point is this is your ride, what ever camaro means to you it can be exact that regardless of engine or trim...but the minute you care about other people's opinions and want their approval you also invite opinions that you may not find favorable...if you don't want this so called "hate" worry about how you feel about your own car. 2 cents

That's awesome that you are staying practical and in budget. I have a 200 mile commute and a vette. And I'm telling you the camaro is the best looking, somewhat ~ economical car to drive...plus, I hate financing and I didn't have $36k, but I did have $30k, so that was a no brainer for me. And for the record, no one has ever asked me if it was a 6, and if they did I would proudly say, yes, isn't that awesome?? Remember the engine size only matters to people who have love to belittle other people, it makes them feel better to put people down, it's like mommy didn't give them enough hugs as a child. You should feel sorry for them.
