Very happy with the car!!
Sorry but there is no way 32 MPG can be accurate unless you were doing neutral down big mountains.

I am currently getting 22.7 on my first tank of gas. I am not running it smooth while breaking it in, so I know it will get better.

60% highway / 40% city

Actually, DFCO down a mountain would be more effective. He was going to the beach, so if he came from a high altitude then there was definitely a lot of descending.

However, isn't the V6 Camaro rated for 28mpg highway? It should be a piece of cake beating that by a mere 15% with the new (since 2008) EPA rating setup.

Manual is rated at 17/29, auto is 18/29.

I'm getting about 22.0 with a mix of highway/city driving.

Low 20s seems to be what most people are getting, though I've noticed that more people are scoring above the average than below.

I'm getting less then 18 mpg avg. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have about 500 miles on it now. I drive about 75% city, 25% hwy. I hope it improves a decent amount.

It may just be that 75% city/25% highway. Do you have a lot of stop and go driving on your commute? It may also improve as you get more miles on the odo.

Yeah, with the new EPA standards 29 MPG highway isn't the MAX you will get, more like an average. My 07 focus can do about 35 MPG just cruising at 75-80 on the highway even though its only rated at 32 (it was also heavily loaded at the time, no wind though).

Yeah I know my 07 Civic was 30/40, and the new epa standards lowered to to 34 or 36 highway, but on average it is 35, and a 500 mile trip I get 40 mpg doing 75 to 80.

All that city driving would do it. Try not racing up to red lights, and shifting lower...there's plenty of torque, use it.

With my auto and A/C, the car computer fuel average is showing I'm getting 23.7 with 50/50 highway/city and the occasional lead foot take off, or pass (Hard to resist sometimes). I have done the MPG after a few tanks, and was closer to the 27 MPG range during the break in period. I am well over the break in period now with 3600 miles on it. I need to compare the MPG now just to see. I plan on doing the CAI soon, and the FlowMaster exhaust when available.

That's really pretty disappointing for mpg... I get 19-21 city with my a4 gto! 24hwy.
I was thinking about getting a v6 Camaro too... :\
