I tried using an acrylic to dye the stitches, but I didn't like how it looked. At a distance it looks good, but when you look closely you can see the paint in the holes between the stitches and it just looked kinda messy in my opinion. So I went back to hobby lobby and bought a fabric dye pen and it works AMAZING!! All you have to do is run over the stitches a couple times and then wipe off the excess and your done! It takes 24 hours to dry permanently but even right after you put it on there it doesn't come off even if you rub at it.

Do you have any pics that you can share? Also can you share the item number. I don't want to get the wrong type of pen. Thanks |

no problem about the info at all. no there is no rubbing off on your clothes at all, so far there is no fading at all, i have had it for over a month as a daily driver and a friend had his done for over 6 months and still looks as good as new. as long as you take your time and wipe the stiching line after every foot or so it comes right off the leather without and sign of bleeding at all.( do not do the whole car and allow it to dry before running a damp rag over it. if so it can dry and then stain the leather). if you wanna see closer pics or have any other questions just ask. by the way i would suggest 4 pens to do your whole interior.

it looks great garysss. no idea why it took 3 pens to do mine. maybe there was still dye left in mine when i tossed them. it starting coming out lighter so i tossed it and grabbed a new one. maybe i just needed to shake it up some more. but at 2 dollars a pen i wasnt to concerned. its a great very inexpensive mod. i keep one in the glove compartment in case i ever need it
