I believe the Z/28 is still lower production then all of 2012 ZL1, why do you have such negative feelings to the Z/28? You never have any thing good to say!!!!

The Z/28 has had much more press than the Z06, therefore peaking interest.
I like 'em both, but that Z06...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I would check out both but I would gawk and stare and spend WAY more time looking at the Z/28
Still wish I could have bought one, just no way really to do it.

What's your definition of rare in reference to American muscle cars?

I guess you'd want a time lapse jpeg video of the 2 hours the car was parked in the show proving more people looked at the Camaro since a still photo of one moment in time doesn't prove anything?

At Barrett Jackson Chevy had a huge display with of course the Z06 front and center as you walked into the room. The lonely drab silver Z/28 was tucked into a corner only garnering interest from serious car dudes. Of course the Z06 drew a throng because of product placement. My red Z28 in the motorhome lot was the Belle of the Ball. Its obvious Chevy is "done" with Z/28 promotion and hitching its star to the Corvette, which has really always been the case.
Does not matter to me, I enjoy the Z28 more and more every day

Even noticed on recent commercials where they talk about awards the brand won in 2014 (as they stated, winning more awards than any other brand). The 1st car displayed is a blue convert. Z06 which is an awesome car, then the Impala, Tahoe, Colorado, etc. (not sure of order). The Colorado won MT truck of the year but there was no mention (or picture) of the Camaro Z/28 winning MT's Best Drivers Car. I love the new Z06 and feel it's an awesome car so I'm not bashing the Vette by any means. It's no big deal but rather just pointing out the obvious.

5th gens>Current Corvettes barring the C6 Z06
Personal preference of course, but the 5th gens are far more interesting cars IMO. The Z/28 being the king of that group of course. |

Had the same thing happen recently at a car event. There were several C7 Z06's there and the only people that were drawn to them were the Corvette folks. They were awesome cars though. I noticed that many people were interested in the Z/28. Had a lot of people commenting, asking questions, and simply just complimenting the car. When talking to them I noticed that they owned all types of cars (American muscle, euro, and Japanese) Some mentioned that they like the Z/28 better than the Z06's. To be honest, I was a little surprised.

20k Z06s built in two years that explains a lot. My 15 Z06 was vin 1697, higher than all Z/28s in 15.
