$50k plus taxes and tags at most. The cars keeps dropping like shit. I would just wait for the ZL1 and pick one up used with a 1k miles on it, because you know they will do the same and drop 10k plus.

75% of the one's in the mid high forties on the internet are CTF cars, would not touch one. However, there are a few nice original owner cars with very low miles at a slightly higher price point that I would consider. These cars are close to bottoming out, if a gen 6Z is announced they probably have some more to drop, if not they will stabilize and possibly bounce upward. 30k back of window on a year old one of these with a few hundred miles is a steal, considering a gen 6 1LE will run you the same. 50-25k is where I would buy without asking.

I think it depends on what you are buying the car for?

I did not realize that you were the one making to rules to the OP's subjective topic/discussion.
Yeah. OK. See above...

I think some people are not reading OP's premise correctly. He didn't ask what the lowest price one could get for, only at what price you couldn't walk away. It's purely subjective. A fun question to think about IMO. That's all. :-)

The only thing you are telling me, is that you need a little help with reading comprehension.

You can get them for less than 55 grand, brand new. I was trying to find the website, cant remember what it was, but a friend and I were looking for sh!ts and giggles to see what they can be bought for. It was about three weeks ago, I saw them for sale at that price.

My can't walk away price was $58.5. Knowing what I know now, I'd have no problem paying mid 60s. The car is simply amazing. Cars will come and go, but it will remain an icon of our time. Think about it...the GT350R is selling for over $100k. The Z/28.R beat the GT350R-C in SCCA last year. The production version of the Z/28 is only a couple of seconds slower around a track than the Z/28.R. Also depends on what you will use the car for, but I DD it and can't wait until work ends and the next morning arrives and that's after 6 months of ownership!
