GM really came through and made available 95% of the things I wanted on my mod list. I just hope my wait to get these bought and installed doesn't take as long as it took for me to be able to get my 1LE. I'm sure GM will be ready before I am. Something to look forward to. I don't want to speculate on price but I think the suspension package will be out of my range. A very nice setup. Mark Dickens stated at the reveal that they fitted the Z/28 suspension to a 1LE and it performed very well. He didn't say where or give any numbers but that would be awesome to see in video to see the capability.

Price will be the determining factor for the majority here, myself included. If we look at what GMPP has done with the ZL1 brake packages that may be an indicator of what is to come...big $$$$. I am all for them making a profit, but when individual parts can be pieced together for less than their total package it makes no sense. The aftermarket does a good job of supplying alternatives to OEM parts....Now the same R&D and testing is not applied in the aftermarket, but if the price point for OEM surpasses that of quality aftermarket pieces most consumers will look to the aftermarket. My predictions: (no basis, just guesses) Intake: $500 (Too many proven alternatives to set the price any higher) Z/28 Suspension Package: $3500 (Good coil overs can be had at this price) Recaro Z/28 seats: $1799 each (No competition for a seat with airbags, but race minded individuals can get a good Recaro race seat installed for less) Z/28 Manifolds: $750 (again, too much competition out there to price them any higher and expect them to sell.) Matt

Recaro Sport Seats – Compatible with 2012 and later Camaros, the Recaro front seats feature more pronounced side bolstering – ideal for performance driving. The driver and passenger seats are offered individually, and feature manual adjustment for reduced weight.
I AM IN!!!!!!!

Wonder if it is the same way that Ford does it for certain Ford racing parts. there were certain parts you could buy from Ford racing and as long as a dealer installed them your warranty stayed in tact

GM is restricting many individual Z/28 parts - see Camaro Performers link:
http://www.camaroperformers.com/news...ts-restricted/ Restricted parts include the "flow-tie"...

offering recaro seats....that's a plus. Where is the site you can order these parts? I want to see how much they are pricing these pieces out for. I can see the CAI going for a grand or more lol

The z/28 parts on a no option gutted V6 Camaro would probably be TOO much fun.
