I had new sensors installed. They are GM OEM and the part number matches what is called out by my VIN... Thanks 0stone0 that gives me more ammo...

If the only issue was your TPMS, then that would be a non-issue given that it doesn't affect the car's peformance/function. It's simply an indicator, and seeing as how I grew up with cars that needed you to check your own tires periodically, it's not a big deal. I hate when stuff doesn't work right, but at least if it's going to go south on me, let it be something nonessential.
The key fob is more problematic, though, and I don't see how on earth that some tire treads would block signals from either the TPMS or the key fob. Doesn't make sense to me.

All the way back to 2012 there have been documented TPMS issues in Camaros that were posted on this site.

So, I just got it back so I loaded one of my old 21 inch tires and wheel in the trunk. I programmed all the sensors and systematically programmed the 21 inch in trunk to replace each of the 4 on the ground one at a time. It failed each time after 10 or so miles of random driving. Next attempt is to replace all 4 with my old tires and wheels. I don't think the dealer drove it enough when the swapped on tires from another Camaro to see it fail.

I've been making 50 mile trips up to visit family every Saturday. It typically takes about 30 minutes of driving before anything acts up, but I have dropouts on the TPMS readings 100% of the time if I have my radar detector velcroed to the dash and powered on. When I leave my radar detector unplugged and sitting in the console, I haven't had any drop out at any time. Being able to turn the problem on and off that reliably, I'm pretty confident the detector is what's causing it. Since it shuts off with retained accessory power, I haven't seen any effect on the keyless entry.

So I swapped the rears with my old 21 inch tires and drove it around.. It failed.. When I swapped those I had a hectic of a time getting the lug nuts loose... Went to change the fronts to the old 21 inch tires to finish the test and again they way over torqued the lug nuts.. One of them stripped the stainless nut cover.. I had to cut the cover off but the lug nut was still not moving with a long breaker bar even on the underlying solid nut without the appearance cover.. Took it back to the Chevy dealer to get it off and chewed on their ears about way over torqueing the lug nuts.. Tomorrow I will change out the fronts and try it again with all 4 tires my old ones...

I just went down this road and spent several months trying to figure this out for my 2010. The dealer nor my trusted mechanic could figure it out. I had the exact same problem as you with the sensors disconnecting after about 25 to 30 minutes of driving. I tried many things that did nothing from replacing the RCDLR, relocating the RCDLR, and even a BCM replacement!

Long story short I discovered there is a problem with the early 2010 models using different sensors and they are EXTREMELY picky about what sensors you will use. The latest OEM sensors (13598772) that GM says are supposed to work on this car absolutely do not. I had 4 of those and 4 13598771 (same with shorter stem, for my snow tires) and they all drop off in the exact same way. The old OEM ones with part number 22854866 have been confirmed to work by me. But those are not made anymore and I really wanted to track down a newly manufactured part that would work.

After much trial and error I found these ones on amazon which will work. Just buy these and you will be happy!

This is an interesting thread. I gave up on my tpms years ago. I don't mind the warning light on the dash. I did notice that last month after I installed a dash cam, my key fob doesn't work from far away anymore. I need to be within 10 feet. I changed the battery in the fob, but still doesn't work as well.
I don't think your problem is the rubber on the rims. Still weird though.

This sounds like a RCDLR problem. Nothing was ever wrong with mine because I could unlock mine from very far away. It never did anything for my problem because it was a sensor problem. They are like 10 buck on ebay used. I'd say try a new one and relocate it if that doesn't work. Make sure to get the latest part number.

I don't believe it's posted elsewhere here (found it in my digital service manual) but it's super easy to get to. It's behind the gauge cluster on the 2010. Pry up the cluster trim bezel, four screws and some connectors. It's snapped under the dash to the right

Thanks for the sensor part numbers. ccss713 were your original ones the 13598772? Mine were those or the 71's but don't remember which. So that is what I bought and installed.

The Amazon description says 13598771 does that just mean they are intended to replace the 13598771 or am I looking at the wrong part?

There have been times with mine that they kind of lose communication one at a time, after a while I can stop, cycle the key and all is well again. Seemed like cold weather may have had something to do with it but this year through the cold weather the TPMS worked OK.

Most of the time they work, sometimes they don't?

Did they source the TPMS system from BMW?

The originals for mine were 13581558, I believe. Part of the reason it took me so long to figure out the problem was that I had to buy all new wheels and tires almost immediately after buying my car last year because the wheels were bent, curbed to hell and had Ling Long tires on them. So I also bought all new sensors on this new to me car and had no history of if the TPM system was ever working.

No 2010's used the 13598772 as original equipment though. That part number came out years later and the early 2010's seem to require the 315 sensors, not the 314.9mhz like the 13598772/13598771. I don't know why that Amazon page references the 13598771 sensor. When I bought them I believe it referred to the 13581558 but I checked my amazon invoice and these are the exact ones I bought. The image of the sensor says 315mhz which doesn't jive with the 13598771 part number anyway. I think they are just using that newer number to make it easier for people to find.

Anyway, I would recommend just buying one of them first to test. Sync it up to the car (using the $10 tool also found on amazon). Then drive for 40 minutes and see if it drops off. If you can get it to reconnect by vigorously shaking the sensor, then you know it is safe to get it installed in your tire. Just a tip to avoid wasting time or money mounting tires for no reason. I'm lucky enough to have a manual tire changer in my basement so I changed the sensors myself.
