I like this. I already thought that I was at the end of the engine modifications (I don't want to open the OEM LS3 engine) and I see that there is also place for improvement here.

What values need to be recorded for the tuner from datalog to be able to adjust the fuel map correctly from this? I recorded the datalog for the ported throttle body, but I don't remember what values I selected. But I assume they will be the same. ..or not? Unfortunately, I don't have the dyno option, so I solve it via remote tune.

O.K. I thought there was a general template for this. Then I will discuss it with Dynosteve when it is up to date. Now I will finish the project with my 2nd gen. and then I would start tackling this next upgrade. Thank you

I guess it's time to move on again. I'm looking for a better intake. I have GPI ported with the Rod Mod in my cart.
But before I confirm the purchase, I want to make sure I'm on the right track. I basically have an OEM engine with light upgrades like most here. Headers, cats, exhaust, ported TB, tune... Is GPI worth the next step?

George,
The 1st mods on my old L99 were a GPI ported tb/intake/headers & tune. It really woke the car up & Andrew is spot on with the seat of your pants feel @ 3500-5000 rpm. A lot of people questioned why I would want a 415 after those mods.

I also added the hear shield underneath, does it do anything I am not sure but figured while it was off I might as well.

Hey George, from all the posts I have read about happy people who got the GPI ported and rod modded intake on here, it is a sure way to go with a "lightly" modded Camaro such as yours. Heck even the cammed guys running them love it!! If I hadn't done the LOD, I would have gone that route! Just might still.. You can't go wrong.

I have it on mine with the heat shield because why not lol. Was a quick install and sent back my old one. Did a remote tune shortly after with DynoSteve and I must say there was a nice mid range improvement even before the tune. For the price it’s the best around dollar for dollar.

Bigdumogre did you have a tune prior to the one you did for the intake? Did Steve just update tune for intake? Just curious if there a noticable difference tuned for intake.
