My dealer pulled it for me on the PDI. No code set. Sounds great

Something close to this. With fuse in, Flaps are open from 0-1100 RPM then close at 1101 to 3100 RPM, then open from 3101 to 6200 RPM. Im sure the RPM's I have given are not exact.

Remove the fuse, and flaps are open 0-6200 RPM 100% of the time, which is what I did. I love the sound, I dont think it has a droan, and you can still have a conversation in the car unless you are WOT, in which case, I dont need to be talking anyway...

And like the others said, no code at all when you pull the fuse.

See, this is what I originally thought because the flaps would stay open on the exhaust if the fuse is pulled hence making more sound.

I like your way of thinking.

No, that's the way it's designed to work with the fuse installed.

If you pull the fuse it will eliminate it quieting down at cruise, giving you the deeper sound all the time.

My car is getting a coolant leak fixed so I walked back and pulled the fuse out myself.

its a little better with the fuse pulled, but it still needs some work in the sound department. I'm going to install my exhaust from my SS and see how much of a difference there is with no mufflers but stock resonators, compared to the stock mufflers and no resonators on the Z

That's what headers and cams are for

I was going to do as much as I can without messing with a warranty issue. Headers are in the works, as soon as I sell the kooks off of my 2010 SS. was told they wont work on the Z. older version of the headers. just trying to make it sound better in the meantime.

those cats really quiet down the car a ton.

Have you considered the Mild2Wild NPP exhaust controller?

Please feel free to call, PM or email me with questions.
