Do you have a fuel leak or something? I drive 80 miles a day and usually fill up once a week. Also a bike isn't necessarily going to do it for you. Advertised mpg are a lot different than actual mpg. Trust me I have an r6 and a 675r

You live on the outskirts of detroit, and you are worried about gas prices? Shouldn't you be worried about the 50% illiteracy rate, or roving bands of maruaders hunting for human flesh, or ED209?

MotorCity...I didn't dig deeper into your other 7 posts so I don't know if you have a L99 or LS3 and your sig and avatar just says SS.
I pull down about 110mi. round 5 days a week. I swap out between the 300 SRT and the Camaro. Today it is the Camaro. I filled up this morning (Wed) following an Easter weekend trip of 250mi. with 280mi. total on the trip with 14gal of 93 @ 3.99. My fuel bill over time has avg. right at $435 a mo. for almost 5 yrs. since gas has really moved up in price. @ 110mi * 20mpg = 5.5 * $4 = $22/day. You must be going on huge day trips over the weekend. Are you averaging your weekends into your weekly commute? What are your numbers if you don't do that...fill up on Monday...fill up on Saturday....keep 2 sets of books and report back.

LS3 here. I drive 40 miles a day with stop and go/mixed driving. I fill up about every 7-10 days depending on my weekend driving. I average 19.4 per gallon and I spend about 60 bucks every fill up. I don't spend more than 250 a month for gas.

how many miles do you have on the car so far What kind of mileage is your car telling you, you are getting so far. Something doesn't seem right. If it's a 20min drive all highway and we figure an average of 60mph, then that comes out to a round trip of 40 miles give or take, and at today's gas prices, $20 is about 5 gallons. 40 miles, using 5 gallons = 8mpg. during the week, you should be getting double that or more depending on how you drive.\ Driving it hard on the weekends however, you could drop to 8mpg. As a comparison, I have a ZL1. 5 days a week (usually), my drive to work from downriver to Troy via I75 is a 75 mile round trip. My ZL1 has an overall MPG average of a solid 16.1mpg, and it costs be around $50 to fill my tank every 2 1/2 days. |

So you are saying that by April 23, 2024, there will be zero V8's in production, and all of our V8's will be gone? I call shenanigans!

I work 4 days a week, takes me approximately 30 minutes both ways, with 93 I usually have to fill up at the end of the week. Looking at about $250 give or take a month. My car tells me I get 15 mpg. I don't think that's really to bad considering its a big v8 and I drive hard.
