OP, what magnaflow axle-back do you have? The magnaflows are usually extremely good at controlling rasp. If you don't like it, get the magnaflow resonated x-pipe. It's basically a muffler that has an x-pipe inside. It will get rid of any rasp you may have but it will make your whole exhaust quieter
Its a really old joke.


My feelings aren't hurt almost traded my car for the S600 v12 twin turbo.. Than I thought about fuel consumption and what I would owe on such a beast... maintenance would also be brutal on a 6 figure Mercedes...

Regardless this shoulda gotta V8 is getting really really old.
