i'd take a mustang over a challenger, every dodge i've ever seen or been in has had something wrong with it, one way or another. they fall apart. i'd say pick either a mustang or camaro and my personal choice is camaro. but if i had to choose 2. dodge wouldn't be anywhere near my first choices.

DuhKoDuh- badass ride... not diggin' the colored lights though. Just my 2 cents.
To the OP- Like everyone has said- you're asking a Camaro forum if you should get a Camaro or something else. The correct answer is whichever you like best.

I own a Chrysler Jeep Wrangler...had a Commander before that: Written on the wall in the garage is the Jeep/Chrysler Roadside Assistance number...If another automaker made a Wrangler-like truck...I would feel safe painting over that number. However, I love Wrangler's for the hose 'em out if they are dirty things they are...and they are the ONLY Chrysler/Dodge I would own.
I will admit that I find the Challengers and Chargers to be sexy to look at.

If money doesn't matter, a Challenger SRT8 would be nice.

If you want to remain stock, go drive all 3 and see which one you would like.
If you want to modify the vehicle, buy a Camaro. There are no tuning capabilities for the 2011-2012 Challengers or the 2012 Chargers because of extreme encryption by Mopar. |

Yeah, now that Fiat owns Dodge. Fiat is known for the worst cars ever. I'd buy a Mustang over a Dodge any day.

The new 300c is pretty sick too if you are looking at a charger.. My buddy has the S type its pretty quick.
Or you can get really ballsy and get the CTS-V sedan |

A Charger is basically the same as an Impala (And I also have SS Impala). I briefly entertained the thought of checking out/buying a Challenger when they first came out because the Camaro was MIA.
I couldn't pull the trigger and buy something that wasn't a Chevy, so I got the 08 SS Impala. Soon after, Chevy was taking orders on the Camaro. So now I have a nice fast family car in the SS Impala (303 HP) and and even faster 2SS Camaro (650 HP). I would drive my 98 Cavalier before a Mustang. Some lines you just don't ever cross!!

The new Chargers don't look too bad, but Dodge turned it into a family car. The Challenger looks decent as well, but its body style has gotten stale in the past few years. And it's a heavy, sloppy beast of a car... Now the Camaro, on the other hand, has been out since mid-2009 and still breaks people's necks when you drive by. It has the perfect mix of classic and modern styling. It's heavy, but has the power/handling to overcome it. The only advantage I would give the Dodges over the Camaro is the additional room in the backseat. So if you're planning on hauling a full cars worth of people around (that are older than 2 or 3), maybe this car isn't for you.
