19, will be 20 in June, so probably before I get my car. 1SS, IOM with BA system. I've been saving for almost a year now, living with parents going to college. Thankfully, my father is successful enough to be able to afford my education out of pocket even during these hard times. I won't, however, let him buy me this car. I want to earn it, and it will be one of the first things that I have earned myself.

Real funny, but i will laugh my balls off when its one of the cocky older drivers who end up wrecking a Camaro first.
Anyways im turning 18 on the 12th of April and i ordered a 2LT/RS Insurance is the only thing that makes the car a little tough on the budget. |

I'll probably be eighteen by the time I see my Camaro 2LT RS. Don't need any more power than that. I'm not paying for it in full, but all the money I earn from my job will go towards the car.

I'm seventeen and I'm getting one. 2LT.
Want the V8 just because I plan on keeping this car forever, and want it to be exactly how I feel is necessary, and because this'll probably be the last V8 Camaro. And even though I've got the dough for it, parents won't let me. |

That's good for you. My dealer actually had to ask my age due to they don't sell cars to someone below 19.

I am getting a bit tired of seeing them. Maybe I should consider a mustang. Lol. Seriously you teenagers. Owning a car is a huge money drainer. From monthly payments to reg maint to insurance to fuel "oh yes it will spike again" to cosmetics to repairs to speeding tickets to accidents to lawyer fees to prison. Its a great thing to have one. But I wouldent blow a budget on it. Why not buy/ save up for a house and have yourself an investment? "Gonna get flak for that!". I was like you though. 2 brand news trucks in the span of a year and a half. A old money pit camaro. Now I own a house and a wife and stepson with bills coming out my ass and the kid always needing something. And I am only 26!! Basically, don't blow all your cash on a hunk of metal if that's all the cash you got.
