Use a pair of work gloves. You will save your hands from the beating.

I did mine and it was not that difficult.

It took a little "muscle" but was not too bad.

I do like it with my new Black powdercoatded ones.

The back was the harder one to get off.

So is the general consensus just grab and pull or get behind and pry the clips out first then pull? I want to attempt this this weekend to paint my bowties.

From what I can gather, those are the methods that have worked.... slowly, with even pressure, pull one side at a time or both sides..... or try to pry the clips from behind, one side at a time using steady pulling pressure. wear gloves.

I've been traveling so I haven't had a chance to do this yet.

put on some gloves, and pull firmly and slowly, start from one side and just keep the pressure, I'm not that strong and I removed it with my girly hands... no prying necessary

it really is that easy...

i found this thread though google, read about the first 10 posts. walked right up to the car and with my thumbs supporting the grill and front fingers behind the emblem, wiggle the first side loose. repeated with the second side. and then pulled straight on. after it was off, my first reaction was disappointment that i spend over 30k on a plastic emblem that a good fart could have knocked loose. happy yanking.
