Commits weekly crime
|
My Camaro had more damage, without frame damage, and it was 15k for front left fender, some hood issues and front bumper replacement. Suspension work was involved as well, can't really tell if anything is broken there.

Changing the fender and front end is easy stuff (unless you also bent supporting structures). If you didn't and are mechanically inclined it may be cheaper to order a new painted front end and fender from Maureen at Rodgers and install them yourself.

I'm guessing hood, fender, fascia, possibly the suspension/alignment and a little sub-structure...and I do mean guessing.
Sucks to happen on a month old car. Hope you're ok. |

I am not very mechanically inclined. If you ever see me going to the garage with tools call a body shop and an ambulance.

I can only see about $3K to $4K. In May I had front fascia, LF fender, door, rocker, both left polished wheels and tires, and paint, both lower control arms and both tie rod links replaced, and it came to $8000.

Sorry about your car, but in the scheme of things it doesn't really look that bad. Very fixable.

Ouch!! I had a minor accident last August and it was $3000 to fix it... I was t-boned. We had a tire and wheel replaced and the rest was just pulling the dents out and re-paint.
That is going to be a costly repair but we also used USAA and am happy with our results. |

You've got USAA.... They will make it right! Count on it. I've been with them since 1972. 1967 on my parents policy and driving a Austin Healy bugeye sprite in high school. Never had a problem with an auto or house claim. They always made it right.

Just an update. $3505.21 to fix Should get it back in a couple of weeks. Gentleman at Reed-Lallier was very nice, seemed competent, and put my fears to rest. I'm gonna see if they will install the fog lights and Badges for my car I bought.
