But yeah, you just can't beat those LS1's, especially the '01 and '02's. The beasts of beasts.
That's the only thing that's keeping me from driving the hour to go give him 3500 in cash right now!

mine's pretty good, seeing as it was a DD for the original owner and myself. 148,000 and she just turned 17 so that's about 8,705.88235 miles per year I've put 6 thousand on in the year and a half I've been driving it.

It's okay! You can find a BBM Z28 if you look hard enough.
As for mine, it's sitting at a low 105,xxx, having got it 101,xxx, that's pretty good for the 14 months I've had it, and the 11 months I've driven it.
It's been my DD for 6 months now.

Me too!
Even when I drove a new Camaro, I felt so naked and alienated. I gained a new found appreciation for my car that day.

Hate to say it, but I bought a 99' Z28 two years ago for $3400 with only 121000 miles on it. hardtop auto NBM 2.73 rear gears, cloth interior, but still, it is fairly nice except paint in scratched and wearing in a few areas. Most go for more than that of course, but I'm just saying $3000 for a pre ls1 days v6 car is stretching it.

yeah, all of my friends want it, and they're all willing to pay that much.. most V6s around here go for at least 3K, but that's usually the 3.8

I always hit the reset button on my trip when I fill up, so I take the amount of miles between fill ups divided by the number of gallons you just put in the tank.. and of course that only works if you're topping it off. lol I usually fill up after I've gone about 220-250 miles and that's around 10 gallons of gas for me.

Really? I've put like 3000 on in the little over 3 months I've had mine...I should probably knock that off

Yeah, I usually have to fill up at the 160-180 mark, and the needle's getting a little closer to E than it should be.

Hello to Billings, I just moved back from Missoula to Virginia and miss it. My buddy here had a 1997 SS HMS Camaro he just sold for 11,500. He cleaned the motor with a tooth brush I swear. Beautiful car

Definitely, my car was owned by a woman in her 40's that took perfect care of it mechanically, but not so much aesthetically. I don't think an ounce of effort was ever made to clean the engine or any wheel wells or anything that usually gets neglected.
