The Eagle Eye halos are wired to the parking lamps. I suppose they could be wired to a seperate switch, but when the headlights come on, so will the parking lamps. Either way you get parking plus halo. The RS halos can be turned on without the parking lamps. But, can't run fogs and hids stock. (I think)

There is, I have mine wired up with my headlights to come on when the DRL's are on and when the regular headlights are one. You can wire the halo's up anywhere.

Beggars cant be choosers. It does kinda suck, but for $400 I can live with the parking lamps.

I have a drl capacitor installed to a relay to prevent the flickering. Hopefully this weekend I can test a setup that will have my halo's as my DRL's without the HIDS on.

I think they look greet but just take away from the halo look IMO. I know nothing about wiring so I'll look for assistance with that one lol. Also do you think AAC could put red halos in it or is it too small

It won't be a halo made for the camaro, they would have to measure the halo to get a correct size. If they are going to do it to the headlight, they will probably make it work.

Looks awesome guys. Eagle Eye makes some good products, I have their BMW replacements in my car. It's nice to see the aftermarket is starting to provide some cost effective solutions.

For those wondering how to wire up the capacitor to stop the flickering check out this thread and post #53

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ght+conversion

it's got a wiring diagram of the harness I built for my headlight conversion. Its VERY similar to most HID kit wiring harnesses. I added the cap because my low beam relay was buzzing because the DRL signal is a pulsed voltage.
