No,, let them think they are financing for you, during the negotiating process.

Get the lowest price you possibly can.. then Flip it on it's ear,,and Bam,, out comes the Certified Check

Dealers prefer buyers with bad credit. Second choice is buyers with good credit, and third choice is buyers paying cash.

And they love trades!!!...they get to confuse you on the purchase price and maybe, if your really dumb, they get to rape you on both ends of the deal (pay you too little for yours and charge too much for theirs). The worse the credit, the more you think they are "doing you a favor" and you will gladly overpay.

Any car sale is in the dealer's favor (or else why would they bother?). The best deal (for the buyer) will come by paying cash, and NO trade in because there is less ability to find ways to rip you off.

Best of luck with that. I paid cash for my 2010 2SS/ RS and was given no "deal".

If they give you a hard time about a deal, just let them know that you have no problem going somewhere else to find a Camaro. The last thing the dealership wants is a serious buyer to walk out the door. And don't let them think that you are desperate to have the Camaro RIGHT NOW!!!

Paid the full $44,000 the day i picked it up and didn't get a penny off.

Betting if you go in with physical cash in hand you can get maybe a grand off.

No. Always discuss price first then financing. Too many people today buy a monthly payment, not a vehicle.

And you will get the same discount, if the buy the car today, regardless how you pay.

The car doesn't cost the dealership any less money if you pay cash for it.

What is a good price to pay for a Black 2011 automatic ls?

Thanks,
money talks, but the dealership ALWAYS gets 100% of the money for the car on day one. if you go down there, knowing what the dealer has in stock, and fully knowing what you want - and you know how to talk, you might get a perk here and there for making the process as painless as possible. but...

...either:
- you pay 100% cash for it... or,
- your financing company pays the dealer for the car, then you pay the finance company + interest.
