The firebreather is a similar design but does not sit quite as high as the GM one.

I have not yet seen a car with the GM high wing spoiler yet, but when I contacted GM last year about it they said it will not be available untill march or april of 2011. so hopefully it will release soon

If it mounted at the same points as the regular spoiler and came factory painted, I think I'd be an owner pretty much immediately.

I really like the look of it!

If anyone knows how to get GM to cough up the spoiler that I have paid for, over two years ago, I would appreciate it.

Don't see how they can sell something, they never intended to provide.

You were ripped off.

Nope - not the dovetail, the one that's on the Red flash... find em here. These guys are awesome to work with too.

More pix please! Wanna get an idea of what it looks like from other angles! Congrats on being the first real person I've seen with a high-wing!

Looks great! Does it mount at the same points as the factory lip spoiler?

If you look at the spoiler where the base connects to the trunk I don't see any way for it to match up with the old spoiler. More pics would be great. I'd like to see how bad it is in the rear view. Does it render it almost useless? Does it even affect it at all?

High Wing

Thanks for the complement. The high wing does use different mounting holes than the lip spoiler and it comes with heavier trunk lift cylinders even though it only weighs around 10 lbs.. There is also a plug in for the additional 3rd brake light. You don't notice the wing much in the side mirrors, but it takes about 1/4th of the rear window view. I am very pleased with the way it looks.
