Wow crazy I was just thinking about that shifter today and I wish someone would come out w a mod. I love it the plate sucks though too plain needs some dressing up but love it!

Here is a pic of the shifter from Ricks($149.99), I think anyone with half a brain can figure out how to make one of these work in a 5th gen.- For those of you who don't know, there is a linkage cable that connects this to the tranny($51.99)-
