Id also consider putting in a pit while your at it.

If your a project guy, the main car can stay on the lift all it likes and the pit is there for other reg car work/service.

And if your handy, most can be DIY to save cost.
Like digging the hole and setting up the drain, sump.
Just shore up the walls when diggin deeper then mid thigh depth by hand.

Oh definitely, I'm going to have to get a little crafty anyways with the concrete replacement and such. That sounds like a great idea.

A guy 3 houses down has 2 4 post full drive on ramps that he uses for storage. (2 cars lifted with 2 others under)

I was looking at them at SEMA last year and don't have the books anywhere i can find them now, but I know there was one company that you could remove the full lenght ramps off the 4 post and still lift the car for suspension work and stuff like that.

That was the ramp that I had wanted. It was $1800-$2400ish and install was $500 or so. I wish i could give you more info, but that all I can remember off the top of my head.

All the info on the lifts are great! I do have to wonder if the thickness of

the concrete floor would be a issue. Would 4'' work or should you have a

thicker floor where you are going to have the lift?

Thank You for all the help!
