I had that same hood on my car at C5 Fest. It was so sweet!

First off I’d like to thank Jeff, Matt and the rest of the crew at Specter Werkes for this great opportunity and the VIP treatment while I was there.

As for the product, all I can say is that I ‘m floored. Their product surpasses OEM fit and finish as well as quality. I honestly can say the gaps between the fenders, cowl and front fascia are perfect. The hood is a direct bolt on and includes all necessary hardware including grill screen and bezel. The swap only took about an hour and they spent most of that lining up the hood. The must be perfectionist like me… One thing to note, when removing the hood the plastic clips that hold the washer solvent rubber line are non-serviceable. If you break them the only way you can get them is to order the whole plastic washer nozzle bracket assembly. My stock hood weighed in at 25 lbs and the GTZ hood is close; still waiting on the official number from Jeff on that. Jeff also stated that the hood not only adds an aggressive look (which I love by the way), but it is a functional hood and it releases high pressure air and heat from the engine bay.

The GTZ Hood does cost a bit more but it’s worth every penny. Remember that the hood is built using ACS’s proprietary RTM process (Resin Transfer Molding) it is injected using continuous glass mat and a specially formulated vinyl-ester resin to meet strict durability standards. The inner hood is trimmed using a precision CNC water jet cutter while the panels are bonded using OE spec adhesive. The GTZ hood is then hand finished ready for final prep. Reinforced hardware is incorporated in the design for safety and warrant a perfect fit. Further more, the hood is also offered in Carbon Fiber.

Like I mentioned above, I’m floored with the fit and finish of the GTZ hood. Specter Werkes has an awesome product on their hands…

I’ll let the pictures speak for them selves…

Sorta of like a reverse extractor hood...I like it!

Only thing I can think of that might be bad...water! Did you build rails on the underside to move the water to the sides or will water just run down the opening and all over the front of the engine?

It's very functional, it releases high pressure air and heat from the engine bay. I'll see what I can do on some pic's.

It will drain between the radiator and the front of the engine; actually fall right to the ground.

You come up with a direct bolt-on rear spoiler that kicks a$$ and I’ll have to take you up on that offer...
