Thanks everyone. I have had a day to chill and it's not too bad now.
The car still looks awesome as long as I don't lay down in front of the car.

I am still going to take it in to get an estimate.

My wife said she was "really" glad it wasn't her that did this, because I always give her a hard time about how rough she is on the front end of her Altima. The under plastic had to be completely removed because it was so torn up.
She still hasn't driven my new car yet.

If you cant see it and does not effect the drivability then it didn't happen.

What are you going to do when it happens again? Waste of money to have to get it fixed more than once. If it doesn't show and your vehicle is not a show car....don't worry about it.

I had to have my front fascia painted due to some trailer rash at delivery. It wasn't that bad and I wanted a particular shop to do it, not the dealer's lot paint type and it ran $500 to paint the entire front fascia. To do it right, it should be removed. Only good way to buff it with all the angles and such. He showed me right out of the estimation software the time it took. It listed more time for removal and re-installation than to fix it.

Good luck.

$15 bucks it you go buy the touch-up paint from the dealer and DIY. $200 for a low budget autobody/paint shop to touch it up. $500+ for a pro/high-end shop to get it show room perfect and patch, paint, and re-clear the whole front.

If it were me, I go the DIY route... because it will probably happen again some day.

that sucks, esp in such short time.

I usually have like 3 ft in front of me when i park cuz even after a couple months i still cant really tell how far i am from the concrete block.

actually, there seems to be a no visibility area all around the camaro, i can never seem to get close enough to the curb, pull up far enough, or back in close enough.

im always nervous parking this thing. If you have to pull in, stop and get out to check clearance do it.
