We will pick up the SA crew and meet you all in El Paso.

Would be cool if we could coordinate a gas stop meet up in Van Horn too...

Hmmmm, Here is an idea...

Wednesday evening leave out of Dallas and drive south on 35 into Austin. 3 Hours 30 Minutes. Stay for the night

Thursday Leave out of Austin headed East to Junction Texas on I 10. 2 Hours 40 Minutes. Fuel, stretch, and Meet up with SA, and Houston, and LA/ Alabama groups!

Head out to Fort Stockton 3 hours 10 minutes. Fuel, stretch and eat some lunch!
Head out to El paso Texas 3 hours 50 Minutes. Meet up with El Paso guys and girls! Eat, Drink, and Sleep it off for the night!

Thats 10 hours of driving for the Tursday part of the trip!

Anyone Else have any ohter ideas! ... I'm just brain storming cause I'm bored here watching football! lol

I asked this in anothe thread but, what would people rather do, stay in El paso for the night, or drive the 40 or so minutes north into Las Cruces for the night. I'm not sure about either since it's been forever since I've been to that area of the world! Any insight would be nice!

Dallas to El Paso is a good day itself. Back when I was still in the Corps, I drove from Dallas to Palm Springs, CA several times. El Paso was my mid way point.

You know the state is big when you is takes just as long to almost cross your state as it does to cross three other states!

Not 100% sure we're in, but I'm happy to do it if ya' want. Although, it looks like you've already gotten a head start on it...why don't YOU plan it all??

Love my Okies! I know of a couple of folks already planning to go, tbarber is one of 'em!

April is a long way away and I gotta see what the better half thinks about another road trip with a bunch of crazy Camaro lovers, but count us as a "maybe" for now.

I have a shirt that says this, and a picture somewhere standing under the corner of the signs in Winslow!
