Initially I was thinking GM could document all Pre-Ordered cars with this option, so far the number is less than 8,000. Of course I'm sure not everyone would want this so the number may be as small as 4 or 5 thousand.

But for some odd reason everytime GM shows us a glimer of hope and a car or feature we want (can you say HUD) they find a way to not deliver.

Oh well at least a small group of Corvette owners get to have the car's "birth" documented.

at this point the number has to approaching 9-10,000 unless absolutely no one has ordered one in the last month. When I ordered mine a week before thanksgiving the number given to me was 8600 have been ordered.

but i would LOVE this option.

I've read about this issue at Cz28.com, and one of the people offered to have this thing going on. I think GM turned it down though,

Count me in....but I say they should only do it for those of us who Pre-order now....then stop. Call it an incentive to pre-order!! Imagine 30 years from now the appraised value of your 5th gen, factory-documented.....sweet!!

Won't happen. The Oshawa plant is not an 'open' facility. You can't take tours. You can't take pictures. Remember the guy who got fired last May? There might be a slight chance of GM possibly maybe changing their mind . . . but don't expect it
