I think its great that so many people are ordering a car that no one has sat in, now we are onto ordering a car in a color no one has seen yet!

Black does hide the lines but it just looks so mean and RIGHT. I'm gonna stay with it. Just try to keep up with cleaning it. Can't wait to scoot around next spring turning heads...

If you can devote the time and effort to it, black is not a bad choice.
![]() I've had the question asked numerous times, "That's GOT TO BE a repaint.", "Is that the factory paint?", "Is the paint original?", and I proudly answer "Yep!". ![]() Black is alot of work, but it looks damn nice when its clean & shiney!

Also, keeping it "shiny" with wax/polish will help with protection and repelling of that "dust and any kind of dirt".

I was in the same position as you, JKashat. I have the same car on order. The thought of CGM (and even Imperial Blue) intrigued me, but this week I made the final decision to stick with black. Although it is a lot of work, I think it is absolutely worth it - you simply cannot top black as far as "bad-ass" factor. When you consider how mean this car's styling is, it will be a knockout in black with the halos and tint.
Also, I know CGM will look good in the sun, but the color is completely devoid of "pop" when not in the sun.

Well guys...
I stuck with the Black Exterior. ![]() I'm happy w/ my decision... Unless, the CGM looks like the Vette CGM and not the Traverse CGM. Then, I'll be pissed! lol. |

I am sticking to my original color choice of Black. In the back of my mind I consider others colors, but I have promised myself that no matter what I will not change my choice. Black has always been my favorite color on sports cars, and just because it will take a lot of work to maintain will not influence my decision.

I know this is late, but hey heres my .02
I have had nothing but black for 6 years. my trucks, my wifes cars, everything. this time around I got a blue truck, mocha terrain for the wife and a grey camaro. black is sharp clean, but I got tired of every little defect showing like it was highlighted. get the grey. youll love it |
