I use a Turtle Wax tire shine product too. I don't know if it's the same one, but it's a spray can foam. I prefer the foam because it's easier to direct and doesn't get all over the car and rims. It lasts very well between washings.

This is what I use...



It stays on real good, but I don't just spray and leave it.
I actually polish it into the tires, that way, it dries in there and retains its shine!

By far best product I've ever used on my tires. I like that new tire black look, not "i just drove through a puddle of McDonalds french fry oil" look.

That's referred to as "sling".

When you apply your product of choice, let it sit for five or 10 minutes. Later, with either a clean foam tire swipe or towell dedicated for only this purpose, go back and swipe back over the entire tire. This soaks up the excess and greatly reduces sling.
