I see no reason why the squeeking won't return as long as the dealer is continuing to use the same factory parts to perform the repairs. I'd be willing to pay $100 for brake pads that won't squeak and ask the dealer if they'd install them instead of the factory pads under warranty. They won't warranty the non-OEM pads, but I wouldn't care if it permanently fixes the problem.

The pads they put on mine were a "redesigned" part that does not squeak. See the original post I had a few posts up.

I have the same problem, even with the hard stops, the dealership told me to go out and get aftermarket pads. I didn't think to ask them to install the aftermarket pads though. Its definitely embarrassing though. I'm debating on changing the rotors too or just brake pads...I just want the squealing to end.

Mine are driving me crazy! It's weird, it's not consistent. It seems if I haven't used the brakes for a minute, they will squeal, but if I brake consecutively, they often don't squeal.

And I have an annoying constant squeak while driving, even when not using he brakes.
